Parenthood - My LIfe Before and After Children

Before my first child Mary was born, I lived in Ethiopia.  My life was very nice, because I had little responsibilities.  I lived with my family in my parent's house until I was 22 years old.  We had a lady living in our house to do the cooking and cleaning, which is common in Africa for a family who is well off.  We have a large family with 10 siblings total, and I loved it.  My brothers were very gentle and I was close with all of my siblings.  I moved out when I was 22 after I married my husband, and I had my first child, my daughter Mary when I was 22.  Life was very different because I had to start budgeting for food, the bills, the help's salary - everything so that was as big change.  Shortly after Mary was born, political problems started in Ethiopia and I left to find a new home in Egypt.  3 months later, my husband and daughter Mary  joined me in Egypt.

Arts - A short True Story of my experience in Egypt

When I was pregnant with my second child in 2011 in Egypt, the president of 30 years was overthrown and it was a very bad state in Egypt at the time.  I was living in an apartment with my family at the time, and suddenly there was no food to be bought in any stores, and all we had to eat was the little food I had in my apartment.  My friend, who lived in the same apartment, had no food, so we shared the little food that I had among the 9 people.  When the food ran out, we all prayed.  The food ran out after 5 days.  I was 6 months pregnant at the time.  For 6 days we had no food, 11 days after being trapped in my apartment, there was some shopping with a little food I was able to buy.  It was only safe to go a short distance outstide, with constant rioting and gunfire.   After 3 months the shopping and grocery stores reopened, and I had to go back to work to support the family.  I was very afraid, but I had to take a taxi by myself.  Every time I went outside, I couldn't trust anybody and it was very frightening.

Activity - Lesire activities and walking to work

Every morning, I wake up and I make time for reading my Bible and for prayer time.  I do this every day because it is important to me.
I walk to my job every day.  Every night, I walk back home and sometimes I walk with my husband.

My Easter Story 2017

I was going to my friend's house for easter but her house burned down. I was going to my friend Mary's house at 11:30 pm when I saw a lot of police an ambulance and three fighter trucks.
Mary and I went come back to my place while husband went to the police.
after staying at my place one day mary went to the hotel
she would come to visit me in the day
and go back to the hotel at night.
